Dana Lehman is a Chief Schools Officer at Attuned Education Partners. Previously, Dana served as Director of Content for Uncommon Schools, managing and building professional development for teachers, instructional leaders, and Principal Managers throughout Uncommon Schools. Prior to that, Dana served as Managing Director for Uncommon Schools for 6 years, growing Roxbury Preparatory Charter School from a single school serving 250 6th – 8th grade students to a 5-12 network of 4 schools growing to serve 1800 students in Boston.
As Managing Director, Dana also was a member of the Uncommon Schools Executive Team as the network grew from 17 to 44 schools in 6 cities and won the Broad Prize for Public Charter Schools for demonstrating the most outstanding student achievement in the country. Dana was the Principal of Roxbury Prep from 2004-2010, during which time the school had the highest MCAS proficiency levels in MA in 8th grade math in 2007 and 2009. Before becoming Principal, Dana taught 6th and 8th grade science at Roxbury Prep from 2001-2004.
Prior to her time at Roxbury Prep, Dana served as the Executive Director of Summerbridge Fort Worth, a non-profit academic enrichment program, and taught high school physics and coached soccer and softball at Fort Worth Country Day School from 1998-2001.
Dana received her B.A. in Physics from Swarthmore College and a M.A. in Educational Studies from Tufts University.
