Priam Dutta is the Deputy Chief of Strategy of Attuned Education Partners. Previously, Priam was the Founding Principal of Achievement First Voyager Middle School, from 2016-2020. In the 2018-19 school year, Voyager Middle was #1 in growth on Achievement First’s comprehensive measure of school quality (out of 37 schools) and was honored by New York State as a “Recognition School” for high academic achievement. When schools closed in the spring of his last year as principal, Priam designed and led the pilot of Achievement First’s remote learning program for the network’s 19 middle schools. Before founding Voyager Middle, Priam spent four years at AF Bushwick Middle School and AF Brooklyn High School as a teacher and a Dean. Priam joined Achievement First from McKinsey & Company, where he led teams that developed and piloted programs to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of financial institutions. Prior to McKinsey, Priam taught history through Teach for America at Scottlandville High School in Baton Rouge. Priam holds an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College and a JD from Yale Law School.
