Camilla López is a Chief Schools Officer at Attuned Education Partners. Previously, Camilla served for three years as Chief Academic Officer at Rocky Mountain Prep (RMP) and briefly as interim CEO. During her tenure, she oversaw school leader growth, led the network academic program strategy, and supported school culture systems.
Camilla created a centralized college-ready academic vision for RMP’s four schools and a consistent model for developing leaders and teachers across the network. The impact of her work included higher student achievement in mathematics, which ranked RMP in the top 20% of the state – one campus being the top-rated school in the Aurora district. Camilla also successfully led the network’s two turnaround schools to meet their yearly goals, with one moving from an orange to green rating on the statewide performance framework. Prior to RMP, Camilla served as principal at Achievement First’s Crown Heights Elementary School for seven years, which ranked in the top three of the network’s NY elementary schools under her leadership.
Before stepping into her principal role, she served as the academic dean and ensured that the founding cohort of students ranked second in New York City.
Camilla began her educational career as a New York City teaching fellow at C.S. 44 in the Bronx. Camilla earned a master’s in education from Fordham University and undergraduate degrees in film and sociology from Vassar College.
