Mira K. Shah is the Manager of Adult Learning at Attuned Education Partners. Mira joined Attuned from Relay Graduate School of Education, where she held several roles, most recently as the Program Director overseeing all of Relay’s programming in Houston. In her role, Mira led the teaching Residency program, a two-year program supporting aspiring teachers to earn their Texas Educator Certificate along with a Masters of Arts in Teaching. During her time, she coached and developed over 500 new teachers. Additionally, she worked with local and charter district partners to help design the Residency experience for their aspiring teachers.
Before Relay, Mira was at Breakthrough Houston (BTH), where she founded BTH’s second programming site in Southwest Houston. She led middle school programming for over 500 students and recruited and trained 150 college-aged teaching fellows. Mira also was the founding Assistant Principal at KIPP Connect Middle School, where she led the math, science, and technology teams.
Mira started her teaching career at Sharpstown High School in Houston. Mira holds a B.S. from Northeastern University in Business Administration, a M.A. from University of St. Thomas in Teacher Leadership, and an Ed.D from University of Houston in Education Leadership and Policy Studies.
